Community Connection

Community Connection As a service to South Washington County Schools' parents, students and community, the district provides space for non-profit and school groups to post notices regarding special events, programs and activities. The organizations and activities represented here may or may not be related to or sponsored by South Washington County Schools.

Group/Organization eligibility for community postings:

  • The requesting entity must be a local Non-Profit Organization, District 833 Parent Group (including PTA-PTO's and Boosters), or District 833 Student Organization.

  • Information shared must be an offer of student opportunities to enhance student achievement and wellness and/or support District 833 programs and opportunities.

  • Information will not include any reference to political views.

  • Each group/organization will be allowed to share no more than four electronic flyers over the course of the school year (commencing July 1 and ending June 30). NOTE: Each city is an organization - each athletic association is an organization.

Groups/organizations that meet these criteria must send a link to a webpage or PDF flyer about the event or program, a short description of the event or program, the organization name, and the event organization contact information to flyers@sowashco.org. Any questions can also be directed to flyers@sowashco.org.
