Water Testing

South Washington County Schools is committed to providing a safe environment for students, staff and the community. As a part of this commitment, the district is working to test water sources in every school every three years. This is above and beyond the five-year testing cycle recommended by the Minnesota Department of Health.

The first rotation of the three-year cycle was completed in December 2018 and the second rotation was completed in March 2019. In the buildings that were tested, all drinking water sources tested below 20 parts-per-billion on the final test, which is the district’s current action level goal.
