District 833 buses pass annual inspection with perfect scores

The annual state school bus inspection by the Minnesota Department of Transportation resulted in a perfect score of zero defects on every one of South Washington County School’s vehicles. In all, 148 vehicles were inspected over eight days in October. This is the sixth time the district has passed with zero defects.

Items that are inspected on the vehicles include: tires, exhaust, brakes, steering/suspension, chassis/frame, lighting, school bus body, interior seats/components, mirrors, window glass, safety equipment, as well as, emergency exits and alarms.

District 833 congratulates the entire Transportation Department, including the Director of Transportation Carrie Olson, Assistant Director of Transportation Operations Andy Smith, Head Mechanic Cory Ebsen and mechanics Dale Schmitz, Marlon Jones, Mark Johnson, Derek Oehme and Dalton Johnson.
